Mix salt and lemon juice together well. Now, take a dishwashing sponge and apply the mixture of salt and lemon juice to it. Use the sponge to scrub the brass item you want to clean and restore to its original shine. If needed, you can soak the brass item in the lemon juice mixture for a while. Finally, rinse the item with water. You will see the results yourself.
